Dear Mayacama Vintner Member,

We are excited to begin planning for the 9th annual Vintner Cup Championship and the 10th annual All Vintner Pour held on May 10, 2014 and we look forward to your wholehearted support. This is the most highly anticipated weekend of the year at Mayacama and this year is no exception. The Vintner Program at Mayacama is one of the founding cornerstones of this fine Club; therefore, we are asking for your personal participation.

Each Vintner Member is encouraged to participate in all the festivities. If the Vintner is unavailable for any or all of the events, we request that their winemaker, cellar master, or a knowledgeable representative is sent in the Vintner's absence.

As in previous years, the Vintner Cup Championship will begin on Friday with an informal practice round. In the evening we will host our "Draw Party" where the teams will be announced and the Vintners will be seated with their team for dinner. The "Draw Party" establishes a sense of camaraderie and competition for the Vintner Cup Championship on the following day.

TEAMS
Each team will consist of four persons; one Mayacama Vintner Member and three Mayacama Members.

8:15 am Welcome & Tournament Format Explanation at the Driving Range
8:30 am Shotgun Start
11:30 am Lunch Delivery on the Golf Course
10:00 am - 3:00 pm All Vintner Pour Setup
4:00 - 7:00 pm All Vintner Pour Event

VINTNER CUP ENTRY FEE
For your Vintner Member Entry Fee; which includes all meals and functions listed on the Schedule of Events, please submit three autographed magnums (or the equivalent) of wine. These three bottles will be used as tee prizes for the Mayacama Members paired in your group. We ask that autographed Vintner magnums donated to the Club for tee prizes are shipped or delivered to Jeff McCarthy at the Club by Friday, April 11, 2014. ALL VINTNER POUR WINES
We encourage Vintners to select wines that Members and their guests will be able to order through the Club. For the All Vintner Pour, please limit total quantity to 24 bottles and four to six varietals. We ask that all wines for the All Vintner Pour are shipped or delivered to Jeff McCarthy at the Club by Friday, May 2, 2014.
