Dear Vintner Members...

We are excited to begin planning for The Vintner Cup and the All Vintner Pour to be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 and we look forward to your wholehearted support. The Vintner Program at Mayacama is one of the founding cornerstones of this fine Club; therefore, we are asking for your personal participation.

Each Vintner Member is requested to participate in all the festivities. If you are unavailable to attend the "Draw Party", play in the tournament, or unable to pour wine at the All Vintner Pour, we request that your winemaker, cellar master, or a knowledgeable executive of your team is sent as a representative in your absence.

The Vintner Cup will begin on Friday, May 15th with an informal practice round. In the evening we will host our "Draw Party" where the teams will be announced and the Vintners will be seated with their team during dinner. The "Draw Party" establishes a sense of camaraderie and competition for The Vintner Cup on the following day.

TEAMS
Each team will consist of four persons; one Mayacama Vintner Member and three Mayacama Members. In order to maintain the integrity of the "Draw", requests for Vintner pairings with specific Members or groups cannot be accommodated. The draw will be conducted on a totally "blind" basis, which is the spirit in which this tournament was founded. We thank you for your cooperation and support.

VINTNER CUP ENTRY FEE
For your Vintner Member entry fee; which includes all meals and functions listed on the Schedule of Events, please submit three autographed Vintner magnums (or the equivalent) of the wine you are planning to pour ding the AVP. These three bottles will be used as tee prizes for the Mayacama Members paired in your group. We ask that autographed magnums are shipped or delivered to Jeff McCarthy at the Club by Friday, April 17, 2015. If you have specific golf-related questions regarding The Vintner Cup, please contact Ted Antonopoulos, Head Golf Professional at 707 569 2916.

ALL VINTNER POUR WINES
We encourage Vintners to select wines that Members and their guests will be able to order through the Club. For the All Vintner Pour, please limit total quantity to 24 bottles and four to six varietals. We ask that all wines for the All Vintner Pour are shipped or delivered to Jeff McCarthy at the Club by Friday, May 8, 2014. If you have specific wine-related questions regarding the All Vintner Pour, please contact Jeff McCarthy, Wine Director at 707 569 2906.

The most convenient way to RSVP for each phase of the weekend's activities, is to register online by following the instructions below:

-Go to www.mayacama.com and click on MEMBER LOGIN in the upper right corner of the page
-Contact Claire Thomas at 707 569 2902 if you need assistance logging on to the site
-Navigate to the CALENDAR and click on the The Vintner Cup & Pour (Vintners Members)
-Click the REGISTER button
-Click 'Member' or click 'Guest' if registering your winemaker. Please include your guest's email address
-Click CONTINUE button and answer the questions
-Add optional notes
-Click REGISTER
-Print Confirmation and Close.
