Member Holiday Party & CHilDREN'S GINGERBREAD HOUSE DECORATING
Enjoy an enchanting evening with your fellow Members at our annual Member Holiday Party. The kids portion of the party begins at 4pm with Gingerbread House decorating. This can always be enjoyed with parents and it will be exciting to see who takes home bragging rights for the best creation of the year! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand this year for pictures with our house photographer and the Charles Dickens Christmas carolers will also be on hand to set the tone for a magical evening. The “Adult” Holiday Party begins immediately after at 6pm where you will enjoy delicious hors-d'oeuvres while sipping fantastic wines and cocktails! Be sure to sign up and spread the holiday cheer with your fellow members at the last party of the year!
Happy Holidays from our Mayacama Family to yours!

HOLIDAY FUND
With the Holiday Season quickly approaching, we request that you remember and recognize our employees by making a contribution to the Mayacama Holiday Fund. This fund gives you a wonderful opportunity to reward those who have made your Mayacama experience a special one in 2017.
Our combined staff continues to be a major strength of the Club and without their hard work and dedication, we could not provide you with the level of service you have come to expect and deserve. All Mayacama employees will benefit from your generosity excluding the General Manager, Greg Brown, and Jonathan Wilhelm, Managing Partner. The other exception to the holiday fund are the caddies who are contracted through an outside vendor. Monies collected for the Holiday Fund are fairly distributed to all employees based upon their years of service. This includes less visible employees who are diligently working behind the scenes; contributing to smooth operations.
We know our employees will greatly appreciate your generosity as it will contribute to the enjoyment of their Holiday Season. In deciding how much to contribute, our recommendation is $300.
For your convenience, please complete the online form linked to this email which will forward to the Accounting Department. If we do not receive your form or hear from you by December 15, 2017, we will automatically bill your account $300 which will appear at the bottom of your December statement. The success of this program depends upon the participation of each Member.
We are eager to see you around the Club during the coming festive months! On behalf of the entire staff at Mayacama, we wish you and your families the best of the upcoming Holiday Season.

FIRE RELIEF FUND UPDATE
We cannot thank the Membership enough for the outpouring of support and willingness to help those who have been affected. Mayacama has now partnered with the Sonoma County Children's Charities for Fire Relief Efforts and now your donations can successfully be deducted from your taxes.
There will be two options that will allow you to donate:
1. Direct wire-transfer to Exchange Bank - For Instructions CLICK HERE
2. Write a check to Sonoma County Children's Charities and reference "Fire Fund" on your check. You can send this directly to:
C. Edward Turner, CPA
Airport Business Center
414 Aviation Boulevard
Santa Rosa, CA 95403
Please make sure you do not mix donations with your Member payments. This fund is strictly set up to aid in fire relief and Member payments are to be sent separately.
For those of you who already donated directly to Mayacama, please contact Geoff Gomes, our Controller, at [email protected] or by phone (707) 569-2970, to request how to convert that donation to a tax-deductible one.
Please continue to keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers here in Sonoma and Napa counties. Every local citizen knows multiple families who lost homes and worse. We appreciate all your support!
TEMPORARY HOUSING NEEDED
My name is Courtney Rebel and this is my little family; Josiah (husband) and Koa (son, 21 months). I am the Activities Director and Golf Fitness Trainer at Mayacama Golf Club. We are writing this message to help spread the word that we are seeking temporary accommodation, beginning on or around December 1.
We lived off Mark West Road and unfortunately lost our home and all our belongings in the Tubbs Fire. We are so fortunate to have evacuated within 4 minutes of the road closing that evening due to the fire making it impassable. This will definitely be a story we tell our son Koa for years to come!
We are seeking a temporary rental beginning on December 1 while we try to find a more permanent home. Ideally, we would like to find a 1 or 2 bedroom cottage or cabin with a full kitchen. If there is a small yard for Koa to run around in, that is even better!
A little about us…I graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Kinesiology and met my husband while studying abroad in New Zealand. Josiah is a Kiwi and began his career as a baker and pastry chef. He now owns a landscape design and construction business. We both love to travel the world, enjoy outdoor adventures and meeting new people.
Please let us know if you or anyone you know has a place that might work for us. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts during this transitional time. We are certain we will rise above this situation more resilient then ever before thanks to our strong community.
