We cannot thank the Membership enough for the outpouring of support and willingness to help those who have been affected. Mayacama has opened a special account with the Bank of Marin where Members can make donations to the Employee & Caddie Relief Effort. Please note: these monies will not be released without a detailed accounting of whom the funds are being directed to and for what purpose.

There will be two options that will allow you to donate:

1. Direct wire-transfer to Bank of Marin - For Instructions CLICK HERE
2. Write a check to Mayacama Golf Club and reference "Fire Fund" on your check. You can send this directly to the Club and we will deposit it into the fire relief account.

Please make sure you do not mix donations with your Member payments. This fund is strictly set up to aid in fire relief and Member payments are to be sent separately.

We expect these donations will be tax-deductible, and while we do not have this set up yet, we will research when normal operations resume and update you accordingly.

Should you have any questions regarding your donation or payments, please contact Geoff Gomes, Our Controller, at ggomes@mayacama.com or by phone (707) 569-2970.

Please continue to keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers here in Sonoma and Napa counties. Every local citizen knows multiple families who lost homes and worse. We appreciate all your support!

We hope that you have received the prior updates from the Club regarding the fires throughout Sonoma County and the effect on the Club property. As stated in previous updates we did sustain damage to several facilities along with smoke damage throughout the Villas and Casitas which will affect the timing of opening the Clubhouse and Lodging units. The timeline for the work to be complete is still being developed. We will have more information to you next week!

We are making great progress on our wastewater treatment facility and are working round the clock to restore the complete function of the plant. In the meantime, we are making progress with a short-term solution that can allow us to open while we rebuild the primary facility. We cannot thank Russian River Utility enough as they are working tirelessly to make sure we are operational.

Believe it or not, Dale Engman and his crew have been able to perform Golf Course aeration as scheduled this week and the expected rain tonight/tomorrow will help this process move along and of course will be a welcome climate change during these fires. We are very hopeful to open the Golf Course within the next 10 days – 2 weeks!

We appreciate all your support and will provide further updates soon!
