St. Patrick's Day Four-Ball

The St. Patrick’s Day Four-Ball kicks off our 2016 Golf Season! In this event, Members are ready to brave all weather conditions in order to celebrate another year of Golf and “All Things Irish” at Mayacama. The Players enjoy the camaraderie of the “Four-Ball Stroke Play” format almost as much as they do the Guinness!

FORMAT
Four-Ball Stroke Play (better ball of two partners – 18 Holes). In Four-Ball Stroke Play, two competitors play as partners, each playing his/her own ball. The lower score of the two partners is the score for the hole. If one player fails to complete the play of a hole, there is no penalty.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all Golf Members of Mayacama Golf Club and their invited guest.

TEAMS
Teams may be comprised of two Members or one Member and one guest. 

HANDICAPS
Players will be allotted 90% of their respective Course Handicap. The Tournament Committee will be using your current USGA Handicap Index as of March 15, 2016.

ENTRY FEE
The entry fee is $260 per person ($520 per team) and includes a Welcome Gift Package, all Tournament Prizes, Ali Shepherd Living Foundation donation*, Bagged Lunch, On-course Adult Beverages, and Traditional Irish Dinner & Festivities**. Caddie Fees and Guest Green Fees are not included.

*Ali Shepherd Living Foundation:  Please note that $100 per person ($200 per team) of the above entry fee will be donated in loving memory to the Ali Shepherd Living Foundation. The Ali Shepherd Living Foundation provides funding for programs and organizations that aid the empowerment of young adults in order that they may maximize their quality of life and that of others.

**Traditional Irish Dinner & Festivities: Members wishing to bring additional guests for the Dinner & Festivities at $55++ per person, need to make advance reservations. This can be done as you register for the Four-Ball. On the same evening we have a planned Kids' Night: St. Patty's Fun from 5:00 - 8:30 pm. This is a separate event registration.

12:00 am Shotgun Start & Delivery of Bagged Lunch 
5:00 - 7:00 pm Traditional Irish Cocktails & Dinner
6:00 - 8:00 pm Live Traditional Irish Music

ENTRY CLOSING
The field will be limited to the first 36 two-person teams that submit their completed online entry.

ENTRY (ONLINE REGISTRATION)
All entrants MUST register on the Members Only website online or stop in the Golf Shop and complete the entry in writing. Telephone and verbal entries will NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please follow these easy steps to register you and your teammate Member or guest in the tournament online:

- Go to www.mayacama.com and click on MEMBER LOGIN in the upper right corner of the page.
- Contact Claire Thomas at 707 569 2902 if you need assistance logging on to the site. 
- Navigate to the CALENDAR and click on the St. Patrick's Day Four-Ball event.
- Click the REGISTER button.
- Add another Member or a guest to your registration. Please include your guest's email address.
- Click the QUESTIONS button and answer the questions for you and your teammate.
- Add optional notes you would like to make to your booking. 
- Click REGISTER
- Print Confirmation and Close.
- Contact the Golf Shop to confirm receipt of your entry.
