Thursday & Friday, November 12 & 13, 2020
ENTRY FEE: $700 per team
We cordially invite you and a Golf Professional of your choice to play in the 16th Playing of The Professional-Member Invitational. If you do not have a Professional partner, Mayacama Golf Club will be pleased to pair you with a local Golf Professional to play with you as your partner. Our Professional-Member Invitational is one of our most popular events at the Club, and we are grateful to be able to bring it to you.
At this time, we are still facing uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic and the affect that those restrictions may place on the social aspects of this Invitational. And while those social functions will look differently than in years past, we are proceeding with year’s Professional-Member Invitational according to the Schedule of Events below. In the event that we are required to adjust any of the F&B functions, we will adjust the entry fee accordingly.
We are excited to bring you The 16th Playing of the Professional-Member Invitational!
INVITATIONAL FORMAT: Four-Ball Stroke Play – 36 Holes. A form of play where sides of two partners compete, with each player playing his or her own ball. A side’s score for a hole is the lower score of the two partners for that hole. If one partner fails to complete the play of a hole, there is no penalty.
MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT: In the Championship Flight, players will play at scratch from the Back Tee Markers.
MAYACAMA FLIGHT: In the Mayacama Flight, amateurs will be allotted 85% of their Course Handicaps as recommended under the World Handicap System. Members are required to have an established current USGA Handicap Index to be eligible to compete for net prizes in The Mayacama Flight. Maximum Course Handicap is 24 strokes for men and 36 strokes for women. The Tournament Committee will be using your current USGA Handicap Index as of November 1, 2019.
