On behalf of the Mayacama Vintner Members, we are pleased to invite you to participate in Mayacama Golf Club’s 18th Annual Vintner Cup. The Vintner Cup is centered around two of life’s pleasures, golf and wine. This event creates an opportunity for Members to become better acquainted with our Vintner Members by participating with them as a teammate in a friendly competition along with sharing a glass or two of wine after the game.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Two Best Balls of Four “Shamble”. In Two Best Balls of Four “Shamble”, each player tees off and the best drive is selected and each player plays his or her own ball into the hole. The two best “net” balls of the four players will be the team score for the hole.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Mayacama Golf and Vintner Members in good standing of Mayacama Golf Club. Complete teams of three will receive priority over incomplete teams with less than three players.

HANDICAP: The Tournament Committee will be using your current USGA Handicap Index as of May 7, 2025. Maximum allowable handicap is 24 strokes for men and 36 strokes for women. Players will receive 75% of their respective Course Handicap.

TEAMS: Each team will consist of four persons – one Mayacama Vintner Member and three Mayacama Golf Members. Golf Members may enter as a single entry or with two other Mayacama Members to form your three person team.

PAIRINGS / BLIND DRAW: ALL team pairings with Vintner Members will be conducted based on a random "Blind Draw". In keeping with the true spirit of The Vintner Cup, specific requests for team pairings between Players and Vintners cannot be accepted. We thank you for your support of The Vintner Cup and the spirit of the pairing process.

5:00-8:00pm All Vintner Pour in the Courtyard (Seperate Registration)

ENTRY FEE: The Entry Fee for this event for Golf Members is $250 per person and includes all tournament prizes and tee prizes. Caddie Fees are not included. Please note this entry fee does not include the All Vintner Pour on Saturday evening.

ENTRY CLOSING: The field will be limited and entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. All online registrations must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance and no-shows will be responsible for 100% of the Entry Fee.

NON-TOURNAMENT PLAY: Non-championship starting times will be limited. Please contact the Golf Shop for availability.
