Let’s get lost in the Rainforest! This week we will learn all about the wildlife that inhabit these special forests and how they survive. You will even get to meet an animal that lives in the rainforest! Each day there will be colorful crafts to create slithering anacondas or fluttering blue butterflies and unique games that will bring out the monkey in all of us. At the end of the day we will cool off "Mayacama Style," in the pool with our new friends.

This camp will be unforgettable for your child. We will not only have a lot of fun and make friends for a lifetime but will learn how to handle ourselves if we become lost or stranded in the woods. We will learn the basic skills needed to help us survive and become more independent in the wilderness. This camp will be a great learning tool and teamwork adventure. We will use our skills on our overnight Camping trip at the end of the week when we take a trip to Redwood Camp, a Salmon Creek private ranch. We will have fun playing games and singing by the open fire in the woods.

Celebrate together for the 4th of July! There's nothing like our traditional holiday BBQ at the Swim & Tennis Center! Kids will enjoy swimming, games, and crafts while burgers and hot dogs are cooking on the grill!

Let's continue the celebrations with a color run and dance party. Get your color on by running and having the colors of the rainbow thrown at you. At the end you will look like a human rainbow. After we have our color on, we will enjoy a pool dance party with plenty of food, refreshments and swag. Let’s party like its 1999!

We are still looking for a couple of players to fill out our Mayacama Team when we host the Nor-Cal Cup on Thursday, June 13th.  Seven Members and one Golf Professional will represent each team. Using the Stableford Point System, the six best scores from each Club will total the team score. The team with the most points after playing at each venue will own the Cup for the year. Join us for the Mayacama Member-Member Match Play Tournament on Friday and Saturday, June 21 & 22. For the 2019 Member-Member, we will continue with the 9-hole Match Play format, but will introduce all three forms of match play; Four-Ball, Foursome, and Singles Match Play. This is a great way to meet your fellow Members and enjoy playing 5 nine-hole matches with everyone in your flight. There will be lots to celebrate in the Member-Member… food, wine, prizes, and getting together with your fellow Members to enjoy a fun and exciting match play tournament. We hope to see you there!

Join Mayacama Instructors for a three-day golf camp that aims to prepare Juniors to compete in the Drive, Chip, and Putt National Championship played at Augusta National Golf Club. The camp is open to Juniors ages 7-15. After basic calisthenics each day, Juniors will learn motor skills to improve their driving, chipping, and putting techniques. On the last day of camp, we will conduct a Driving Competition, a Chipping Competition, and a Putting Competition for the various age groups. Once all three competitions have been completed, we will have a Champion in each age division for each competition. The Juniors leading their age group will be named Mayacama Drive, Chip, and Putt Camp Overall Champion! Open to the first 30 Juniors to sign up.
