Sonoma County is finally getting some much-needed rain and so everyone is feeling somewhat relieved! If it continues, it may be more about "rain" than "shine" for our annual St. Patrick's Day Four-ball on March 15th, but that's ok! We know a little rain won't deter even fair-weather golfers from participating in such a fun tournament! We look forward to this and other events as listed below.

We have good news for all our wine enthusiasts! Beginning March 3, 2014 the corkage fee for all wine purchased through the Club will be complimentary. This includes wines purchased through our retail program, wine offers, special purchases, or from our wine list. Prior to shipment or placement in your wine locker, a Mayacama sticker will be applied to each bottle as a way to identify it as purchased through the Club. As an equitable benefit to launching this new corkage policy, all wine that had been placed in wine lockers prior to February 25th, regardless of where it was purchased, has a sticker and will be served without a corkage fee. The corkage fee for all wine purchased outside the Club will be $20 per 750 ml.

As a way to improve our dining reservation system, we have designated 707 569 2931 as the dining reservation line. Please call this number and let us know the date, time, and how many in your party. If, at times you get a voice mail greeting, leave your message and we will confirm your reservation as soon as possible. Reservations are always recommended and required for parties of six or more so that we can give you and your guests the best level of service! We are in the final testing stage of our online reservations and will very soon be able to launch this as another way to accommodate your requests.

Join us in exploring the differences in wine between the northern and southern parts of the valley. Chef Scott Pikey and Wine Director, Jeff McCarthy will take Members on a journey to the Rhone Valley without even leaving their favorite Club.

As far as Esperanza went it was outstanding. We had a wonderful villa overlooking one of the pools and the ocean at a distance. Accommodations were just as luxurious as Mayacama. Staff was very helpful and took care of all of our needs. Adolfo was our Villa Host and was ready for any request and took good care of us while we were there. The food and drinks were also very good. We ate at the restaurant overlooking the ocean one night and it was about as good as it gets. We will definitely go back to Esperanza as one of our future exchanges.

KAPALUA BAY, MAUI

As you may know, The Residences at Kapalua Bay was welcomed as the newest member in the Timbers Collection at the end of 2013. We are very excited to announce that trading will be available soon to Residential Members at Mayacama. Please be on the look out for our email and printed announcement but in the meantime, here are a few helpful hints from the Timbers Reciprocity Program (TRP) to get your account ready so you can begin trading to Kapalua Bay when the announcement goes out:

• To withdraw a week, you must have a live, active credit on your account. Deposit your week now.
• All weeks at The Residences at Kapalua Bay are considered "choice weeks" therefore, it is advised to deposit a choice week to receive a choice credit.
• If you are unaware of your Planned Weeks at Mayacama, please contact your Residences Manager, Danny Hildebrand at 707 569 2909.
• All Owners will be notified via email that trading into The Residences at Kapalua Bay is available. Be on the lookout for the email announcement in early March.
