2012 Mayacama Vinter Select Chardonnay

The Mayacama "Vintner Select" project has been a goal ever since the Club's inception, and a way to highlight exclusive wines crafted by our very own Vintner Members. Our inaugural release is a partnership with Wesley Steffens of Vineyard 7 & 8 and his world-renowned winemaker, Luc Morlet, who made this special Chardonnay exclusively for Mayacama Members and guests. 

The grapes were sourced from the Lone Oak Vineyard, located off Eastside Road in the heart of the Russian River Valley.  Both Dijon and Wente Clones are planted on this hillside Vineyard and produce small-berried clusters with incomparable flavors. 

Winemaker Luc Morlet says "the wine Exhibits a beautiful straw yellow color, and the wine starts with an intense bouquet of ripe citrus, honey and toasted almonds, intermixed with notes of chamomile and crushed stones. Full-bodied and well concentrated, this fills your palate with a rich and creamy texture, and a very long finish. This wine should age gracefully over the next decade or more!"

We are now featuring our new Chardonnay in the Grill, Villas and Casitas, and during Member functions.  We would also like to make this incredible wine available for our Members to enjoy at their holiday table or any other occasion when a great bottle of wine is called for. Our wine retails for $60 per bottle and is only available through the Club.

Sales tax and appropriate shipping will be added to all orders. Allow 2-3 weeks for account processing and shipping. During extreme weather, wine orders may be held until it is safe to ship.
