FALL YOGA & WINE RITUALClubhouse Wine Cave Please join us for a sacred fall yoga and wine ritual. Our instructor Hermine Baker will share her knowledge about her Swedish shamanic rituals of how to move with the fall transitions and how to better take care of our bodies during the darker months. It will be a Hatha yoga style with focus on breath work and deep stretches. This is a sacred practice where we honor your unique body, mind, and spirit. All levels are welcome! You can be new to yoga or an advance yogi - but you won't want to miss this event for a healthier lifestyle. KIDS' FUN: TREASURE HUNTClubhouse Play Room Fun for the whole family, this treasure hunt is sure to bring out the pirates in all of us. There will be clues hidden throughout the Clubhouse that will lead you to the treasure of Mayacama. Pirates of all ages are welcome! Parents wishing to participate in the hunt with their children may pick up the first clue at the front desk at any time between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Children who will be unaccompanied by their parents can meet in the Kids’ Room at any of the following organized hunt times: 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm, and the last hunt time at 3:30pm. The hunt time ranges between 30 - 45 minutes and is fun for the whole family to get involved! Sitters are available upon request in advance if your child needs to stay longer than the allotted time of 30-45 minutes for the treasure hunt. Complimentary Event
FALL RELEASE & BOUNTY OF THE COUNTYWine Cave 4:00 - 6:00 pm Tasting Fall is a time for vintners and farmers to reflect on their harvest and the satisfaction of a job well done. Join us in celebrating the season as most of our Vintner Members will open their cellar doors and present new releases at our Fall Release Pour. KIDS' NIGHT: SUPERHEROSClubhouse Play Room Join us for a night of superhuman abilities and nonstop fun. If superhero attendance is anything like the Spy Night last year, we will be splitting into two groups. Beginner Superhero’s (Ages 4 and under) will be learning how to be a hero in their own space located in the Women’s Locker Room. As for the more experienced superhero’s (Ages 5 and up) we will improve on our skills outside and in the Clubhouse Play Room. Games and crafts will start off the night then we will move right into a dinner packed with the nutrients to keep our hero’s active and alert. After dinner we will have a lesson in cartooning and a show from our favorite cartoonist Joe Wos. To wind down the night we will watch our favorite superhero’s in everyone’s favorite hero comedy, The Incredibles. Time-line: Event $60 Per Child

Heather brings 13 years of massage experience into her work at Mayacama. She took her first bodywork training while living in Europe, and has been fascinated ever since, going on to study massage in both Canada and the US. She has experience in a wide variety of massage modalities, including: deep tissue, pre-natal, oriental bodywork, therapeutic, reflexology, hot stone, lymphatic and Thai massage. In addition to massage therapy, Heather is also a yoga instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience, available for private sessions at Mayacama. She brings her extensive knowledge and experiential understanding of the body into every massage she gives, striving to make each massage compassionate, personalized and effective. Heather loves working at the Mayacama Spa and is proud to be part of our team of talented and caring therapists. She lives in Santa Rosa with her family and enjoys running, swimming, hiking, and playing with her children. |
