ANNOUNCEMENT
Updates to our Pet Policy

We wanted to take an opportunity to connect with our Membership to provide a general reminder of our pet policies as well as some changes our team will begin to implement this fall.

Golf Course:

Dogs are welcome on the golf course either before the first starting time or after the last player has left the course. We ask that anytime you have a dog on the course they remain on a leash. Please refrain from allowing your pet to run in any of the practice areas and as a friendly reminder, we prohibit dogs from entering any bunkers on the golf course.

Swim and Tennis Center:

Dogs are allowed to accompany a Member down to the Swim and Tennis Center, but due to various health regulations, dogs are not allowed inside the fenced area of the pool or inside the tennis courts. Pets are welcome to shadow their Members while they dine at the Pool Snackbar. Our team is happy to provide bowls of water for our four-legged friends.

The Bar and Grill:

Members are welcome to bring their well-behaved dogs with them when dining at the Bar and Grill for breakfast and lunch. We simply ask that all dogs are seated and on a leash with their parties in the outside patio area only.

Beginning October 21 we are no longer allowing dogs at the Bar and Grill or outside patio areas after 4 pm. Our goal is to provide all Members a pleasant dining experience where they can be assured that dogs are not in the Bar and Grill area. This is in no way meant to penalize well-behaved dogs and their owners, but rather provide Members and their guests an appropriate dinner environment at their Club.

Picking Up After Your Pet:

It is the reasonable expectation of club management and your fellow Members that if a pet relieves itself on the grounds, the Member is responsible to clean-up. If you are unprepared to pick up after your dog, various clean up tools can be obtained at the front desk.

We want to thank you for your understanding and adoption of our Pet Policy. At Mayacama, we know how special it is to have your four-legged friend accompany you and join in on all the fun, after all - they're family.

If you have any questions about the policies going forward please contact Danny Hildebrand at 707.569.2909 or by emailing [email protected].
