Dear Residence Club Members,

Recently Timbers Resorts sent you an announcement indicating that they are no longer handling the sales and marketing leads for Mayacama. Unfortunately, they failed to inform me that this communication was going out prior to our annual Residences Association Meeting next Wednesday, when it was our intent and part of our agenda to inform you of this change. During our meeting we will discuss the new opportunities and relationships that we are going to provide you. We want to make sure everyone knows that there is NO change to your membership rights and privileges both with Mayacama and reciprocity within the Timbers portfolio of properties.

When we signed on with Timbers Resorts in 2012 the primary goal was to provide an opportunity for current and future owners in our Residence Club to have the ability to exchange their nights into properties throughout the world that we felt would complement their Mayacama Residence Membership. Toward the end of our contract, we began looking for a new reciprocal partner who is able to offer far more travel destinations but also one that offers more flexibility for the Mayacama Member.

After a lengthy and diligent process, we found a company named Elite Alliance who has a very expansive portfolio of properties throughout the world. All current Residence Club Members will be able to participate in the Elite Alliance exchange program while simultaneously remaining a Timbers reciprocity member. We are excited to explain this at length during our meeting next week and we will also have Elite Alliance’s President, Rob Goodyear, on the phone to discuss their company in greater detail. I would encourage you to look at the Elite Alliance website, which will provide you with a better understanding of the properties in their portfolio (which includes all the Auberge properties) and the benefits you will enjoy with this additional exchange. We will soon be hosting several webinars with Rob to educate you on the wonderful benefits of their program.

Finally, please be reassured that the current benefits you enjoy as a Residence Club Member have not changed and with this additional exchange program, your advantages and opportunities will increase. I am very confident in our ability to continue managing the sales and marketing engine in-house in addition to partnering with local firms for additional lead generation. We have already assembled a terrific sales team who is completely self-sufficient and well versed in golf club and residence club sales. We hope you can make next week’s call to learn more about what is happening at the Club and our future plans for the build-out of Mayacama.
