Dear Residence Club Members,

The exciting news in the Maycama Residence Club world is that we are reviewing bids from four different general contractors, we will soon award the bid to one of these contractors, and construction is planned to begin on the next phase of Villas around April 1st. Be sure to visit the Members Only Website for updates on our construction progress!

We hope you are enjoying your experiences at the Club so far this year, and we look forward to your upcoming visits! At this time we need to take this opportunity to send you updates on two important Residence Club topics for you and your guests.

HOUSEKEEPING

Historically, Mayacama has tried to keep Residence Club assessments or "dues" to a minimum and we are happy to inform you that the Mayacama Residence Club Board of Directors has decided not to increase dues this year. The reality, though, is that the cost involved in cleaning the Residences has increased due to increases in worker's compensation, health insurance, and nominal wage increases. Rather than raising the dues to cover cleaning costs, housekeeping fees are a more equitable system as it is based on your use of the Residences. Therefore, beginning April 1, 2014 we will commence charging for housekeeping services according to the Residence Club Rules & Regulations.

During your stay, our housekeeping team performs a daily light tidy service and once every five (5) days a full cleaning is provided. The daily light tidy is to remove garbage, replace soiled towels, and turn-up the beds. The full clean includes a complete changing of bedding, restocking of bath amenities, kitchen and bath cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming. For stays less than four (4) nights, housekeeping fees will be charged at an adjusted rate as shown in the Housekeeping Fee Schedule below. Housekeeping fees will be billed directly to your account on the date of departure.

Note: For those of you who enjoy depositing your nights into the Timbers Reciprocity Program, please be assured that the housekeeping fees are passed on to the TRP Owner who withdraws those nights to stay at Mayacama.

PETS

Pets, which only refer to dogs, are allowed to accompany Members to the Mayacama Residences; provided there is a "pet-friendly" Residence available. No more than one (1) dog at a time will be able to stay in a Residence.  Dogs must be kept on a leash when outside the Residence and kenneled when left unattended inside the Residence. With 72 hours advance notice, we can organize a nurturing pet sitter who would be happy to walk your dog and keep it company while you're on the golf course, enjoying the Spa, or dining with us. On each stay that your pet accompanies you to the Club, a flat cleaning fee of $50.00 will be added to your total charge. Members may be subject to an additional fee if there is any damage or loss caused by the pet.
