Absolutely spectacular is the 2015 Chardonnay Torchiana Beresini Vineyard. This is an outrageous Chardonnay with great acidity, super-duper concentration with notes of white currants, orange blossoms, caramelized citrus, honeysuckle, brioche and crème brûlée. Intense and spectacularly pure, this full-bodied classic should age nicely for 7-8 years.

The 2015 Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard shows the fatness and succulence this vintage seems to have produced routinely at top terroirs. Terrific honeysuckle, pineapple, peach and caramelized citrus are all present in this full-bodied Chardonnay with great acidity and more depth than the 2014. Drink now-2022.

The 2015 Chardonnay Durell Vineyard offers subtle pineapple, peach, apricot and honeysuckle, but always seems to have more rocky, wet gravel minerality to it. It is full-bodied dense and rich and should drink nicely for 5-7 years.

The 2015 Chardonnay Reserve Cuvee Susan, made from the best barrels, is only the second release of this wine. This is somewhat reminiscent of the Torchiana, perhaps slightly more smoked hazelnuts in it, but it exhibits great acidity, terrific fruit intensity and a long, full-bodied finish. It should drink well for 7-8 years.
