Kerry and Margie Murphy are one of our most influential Vintner Members at Mayacama and, in many ways, helped the Club shape the direction of the Vintner Program. Kerry participated on the Vintner Committee for more than a decade, and his leadership was instrumental in making sure we adhered to the guiding principles of this esteemed membership category. If you asked Kerry what Mayacama meant to DuMOL he would tell you that it was “one of the best decisions he made for the growth of his brand and the support of the Mayacama membership over the year’s has been remarkable."

Kerry and Margie would always attend the annual All Vintner Pour, hosting wine dinners throughout the years and always welcomed the Mayacama family to the annual spring tasting at the winery. I remember one of the first times I met Kerry in early 2006, and it was not a glass of Dumol we shared but rather a couple fingers of Irish Whisky that was always one of Kerry’s favorites. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him but forever remembered in the friendships he made and the fantastic wines he took such great passion in crafting.

The 2015 vintage was the last that Kerry worked on, and is an incredibly special vintage for DuMOL. Each bottle features Kerry's signature, and DuMOL has generously reached into their own cellar to offer these special wines to Mayacama Members.
