Women' Golf Clinics Every Wednesday in May
Please join us again this year for our Complimentary Women’s Golf Clinics, held every Wednesday during the month of May. This is a great way to remove the rust from the wet and rainy winter and improve your skills in all aspects of the game of Golf. From putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and long game, you are sure to find some good keys that will make an impact on your game. Whether you are a beginner or experienced player, we guarantee that you will benefit from attending these informative participatory sessions. Choose between one of the two times offered … either the 9am or 11am clinic (the content is the same for both clinics) and sign up in advance. Each session is limited to 15 persons and will have a 3 to 1 Student to Teacher ratio, so please sign up early … it’s like having a private lesson!

Women's Home & Home - Brentwood Country Club
A mutual Member of Brentwood Country Club in Los Angeles and Mayacama Golf Club, Liz Reego has organized a fun Women’s Golf Event with our two great California Clubs. While entries are already open, there is still room for a few more players in The Women’s Home & Home with Brentwood Country Club. Here’s another great playing opportunity for Mayacama Women for you to join 7 of your fellow Mayacama Members for a friendly game with 8 Members of Brentwood. The “at Mayacama” portion of the event takes place on May 31 – June 2. Formats for the three rounds have been formulated with the emphasis on fun, camaraderie and some great food & wine (of course). Anyone interested should contact the Golf Shop for more information. All persons playing in the “home portion” of the event will have the first opportunity to travel south for the “away” portion at Brentwood later in the year.

The Sixth Play of the Women's Traveling Cup - Bandon Dunes 2017

Come participate in the Sixth Playing of The Women’s Traveling Cup – Bandon Dunes 2017! Mayacama Golf Professionals Andrew Black and Chelsa Helget are looking forward to hosting you for four rounds of golf at America’s Number one Golf Resort. For the first time in the history of The Cup, the competition will take place in our own time zone, and no better place to determine the fate of The Cup than on the four courses at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort!
Players will have the opportunity to enjoy the four courses at Bandon Dunes Resort … Bandon Trails, Bandon Dunes, Old MacDonald, and Pacific Dunes. All four of the venues at Bandon Dunes are listed in Golf Digest’s Top 100 Courses in America, with Pacific Dunes and Bandon Dunes having the distinction of being listed in GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 in The World at Nos. 21 and 64 respectively. In addition to the “Big Four”, you will also have the opportunity to play Bandon Preserve, the famed 13-hole Par Three course before departure.
For lodging, we have reserved Single Room accommodations in the Chrome Lake Cottages.

TARIFF
The tariff for The Women’s Traveling Cup, based on 16 travelers, is $3,650 per person and includes:
- Single Room Accommodations for 5 nights at Chrome Lake
- Taxes and Resort Fees, including complimentary shuttle services throughout the resort, porterage fees, and complimentary wireless Internet service.
- Green Fees for five rounds of golf on Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old Macdonald, and Bandon Preserve,
- Unlimited access to Bandon Dunes Practice Areas, including the famed “Punch Bowl” … a 100,000 square foot putting course designed by Tom Doak and Jim Urbina.
- Club Storage and Club Cleaning daily
CADDIES
- All Courses at Bandon Dunes are Walking Only. Caddies are available and will be reserved for our players. Payment for caddies is made directly to the Caddies after each round, and averages $100+ per bag per round.

OTHER TRANSPORTATION
- Once you’re at Bandon, in-house transportation offers complimentary shuttle service within the resort property.
- For your convenience, you may wish to ship your golf clubs from Mayacama or another origin to and from Bandon Dunes Resort. At Mayacama, we have selected a company called “Ship Sticks”, which specializes in Golf Club shipments. The Golf Shop at Mayacama can assist you with this process should you wish to ship your Clubs rather than take them with you on your flights.
Over the years, The Women’s Traveling Cup has been a great way to travel with your fellow Members, meet new friends, and play some of the world’s finest golf courses. Together we’ve toured England, Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland for golf on some of the greatest courses in that part of the world. Stateside, we’ve visited Pinehurst and Sea Island, and now Bandon Dunes Golf Resort will certainly prove to be another great venue for The Sixth Playing of The Women’s Traveling Cup!
Women's Home & Home - Meadow Club
We’re pleased once again conduct another Women’s Home & Home with the beautiful Meadow Club in Marin County. This is a great opportunity for you to experience one of the great golf courses designed by one of the world’s most noted architects, Dr. Alister MacKenzie! Details in are being finalized with the two clubs, but please pencil in the dates and call the Golf Shop to reserve your spot. As always, we prefer that those Women who travel to Meadow Club also be on hand to host the Meadow Club Members when they visit Mayacama. Accordingly, priority will be given to those who can commit to playing at both venues.

THE MAYACAMA CUP
May 26 – 29

Entries are now open for our Annual Match Play Championship. This is one of the “Medal” events at Mayacama where the Champion receives their own replica of The Mayacama Cup, a Championship Medal, their name on the Mayacama Cup Champions Board, and a coveted seat at the Champions Dinner, which is held annually on the eve of the Club Championships in August.

June 23 & 24
We would love to expand the field in this year’s Member-Member to two Women’s Flights. To accomplish this goal, we need 24 Women! This is a great event that you and your fellow Mayacama Member-Partner will enjoy. Please refer to the Member-Member Entry Information in one of these locations for more information and to enter The Member-Member:

THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
August 19 & 20
Our Club Championships identify the Women’s Champion Golfer (both gross and net) of Mayacama Golf Club and is played at Stroke Play. In order to accommodate the requests and increase the size of the field, the 2017 Championship will now be a 36-hole Championship played over two days. Like The Mayacama Cup Champion, the Women’s Club Champions will receive their own Championship Medal, the Championship Club Replica, have their names listed on the Champions Board, and receive an invitation to the Annual Champions Dinner, held on the eve of the Championship.
THE WOMEN’S MEMBER-GUEST
September 7 & 8
This flagship event has now been expanded to two days! Members have an opportunity to bring a guest and participate in a fun two-day event filled with Food, Wine, and Prizes! We’re happy to report that the Women’s Member-Guest has grown in popularity over the last few years, and with that demand, we’ve expanded it to a two-day event!
