Mayacama Golf Club cordially invites you to compete in the 14th playing of the Men's Senior Club Championship. Please keep this championship information for your future reference.

SENIOR DIVISION: Entries are open to Golf Members of Mayacama Golf Club who have reached their fifty-fifth birthday by March 29, 2019. The player with the lowest gross score will be named the 2019 Men's Senior Club Champion. The player with the lowest net score will be named the 2019 Men's Mayacama Flight Senior Champion.

SUPER-SENIOR DIVISION: Entries are open to Golf Members of Mayacama Golf Club who have reached their sixty-fifth birthday by March 29, 2019. The player with the lowest gross score will be named the 2019 Men's Super-Senior Club Champion. The player with the lowest net score will be named the 2019 Men's Mayacama Flight Super-Senior Champion.

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: Stroke Play – 36 Holes (18 Holes Per Day)

HANDICAPS: The Championship Committee will be using your current USGA Handicap Index as of March 15, 2019.

PAIRINGS: First round pairings within each division will be made by a blind draw. Second round pairings will be made based on first round scores within each Flight. Information regarding Friday’s pairings, starting times, etc. will be posted in the Golf Shop approximately 48 hours prior to the start of the Championship. Pairings for Saturday’s final round will be posted in the Golf Shop after 4:00 pm on Friday, Mach 29, 2019. It is the player’s responsibility to contact the Golf Shop at 707-569-2915 for this information.

STARTING TIMES: The starting times listed below are approximate and will be finalized once entries close and the field has been determined. The players shall start at the time set by the Championship Committee.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday, March 29 – First Round
8:00am – Starting on #1 Tee (Senior Division)
9:00am – Starting on #1 Tee (Super Senior Division )

Saturday, March 30 – Second Round
8:00am – Starting on #1 Tee (Senior Division)
9:00am – Starting on #1 Tee (Super Senior Division )

TIES: Ties for 1st place Gross and 1st Place Net in both the Senior and Super Senior Divisions will be decided by a playoff beginning on Hole #1. The playoff will begin immediately upon completion of score posting and when all scores have been certified by the committee. Ties for 1st Place Gross will be played at scratch. Players who are tied for 1st Place Net will receive strokes as they appear on the scorecard.

PRIZES: The Champions of all four divisions will receive their own Championship Cup and have their names engraved on the Mayacama Men’s Senior Club Championship Trophy, which is on permanent display in the Mayacama Clubhouse. All other prizes will be in the form of gift certificates.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee for this Championship is $125 per Member. Entry fees include all championship awards and awards reception on the Putting Green immediately after all scores have been approved by the committee. Caddie fees are not included.

ENTRY FORMS/CLOSING: All entries must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2019. Register online on the Members Only Website. Players who register online will receive an electronic confirmation. Verbal and telephone entries will not be accepted.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance and no-shows will be responsible for 100% of the Entry Fee.

NON-CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY: Non-Championship Play will be available approximately 30 minutes after the last group has cleared the first tee. Please contact the Golf Shop for available starting times.
