The Sip ‘N Swing is one of our most popular events! Join us for a fun, casual evening featuring nine holes of golf, complemented by wine, beer, and cocktail stations along the course. Afterwards, enjoy a buffet dinner in the Clubhouse with your team and fellow Mayacama Members.
This event follows a 6-Player Scramble format with unique rules on each hole. The Sip 'N Swing is open to all Mayacama Members; guests may attend dinner but are not eligible to participate in the golf.

Prepare yourself for a boot camp style school where the first 30 cadets who sign up can master full swing, putting chipping and pitching techniques - plus learn some of golf's essential etiquette rules too. It all culminates with an Awards Luncheon after a Putting Championship and 5-Hole Scramble tournament that'll show off just how much progress everyone has made over three days! A special thank you to our Members who competed in this wonderful event. In the Championship Flight, David Klaudt was able to win on the 33rd hole over defending champion, Andrew Slusser by a final result of 5 and 3. In the Mayacama Flight, Justin Richardson was able to secure his third straight Match Play Championship with a result of 5 and 4 over Stephen Wright. In the Women's Division, Sarah Ozols continued her consistent play to a victory over Larissa Herczeg with a final result of 4 and 2. Sarah will add a new seat to the Champions Dinner on August 15th. What an incredible two days of golf it turned out to be! We all were able to witness some great golf, as each flight came down to singles matches. The horserace proved to be the highlight of the 45 holes, with two father-son duos battling to the end for Overall Champion. Ultimately only one team would emerge victorious. Doug and John Neff edged out Todd and Jack Fitch, by one stroke on the final hole of the shootout.

The format for this Championship is Chapman Stroke Play, where two players play as partners, each playing from the teeing ground and each playing their partner’s ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners will select the ball with which they wish to score, and play that ball alternately to complete the hole.
The team with the lowest gross score will be named the 2024 Spouses Club Champions! |

Enjoy playing a friendly Stableford competition where there will be one representative from each Club in every group. Play golf in the morning, followed by lunch to celebrate our camaraderie.
