March is always an exciting month, as activity at the Club quickly begins ramping up! We are excited to host our sold-out St. Patrick's Day Four-Ball on Saturday, March 12, just before we start our semi-annual aeration project. The Grounds Crew works diligently Monday, March 14 through Thursday, March 17 to keep the course in top shape. As a reminder, the Club & Course is closed during this time. This month we are announcing and opening our Kids' Camps for summer 2022! Take a look below, and be sure to register soon, as these camps are sure to fill up quickly! We hope to see you at our First Friday Pour this Friday, March 4, featuring J Vineyards & Winery!

Summer Kids' Camps

Drop-In Camps

Various Weeks in June, July, August
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

This summer, we introduce 'Drop-In' Camp Days! We are offering "Drop-in Days" during the weeks we do not have a designated themed camp. Drop-in days are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. There will be a variety of activities, including time at the pool each day. The cost is $85 per day and includes snacks and lunch. You can register for all three days or any particular day that works for you. When possible, advance registration is appreciated to anticipate staffing needs.

Ages 4 - 12, $85++ per child

Mini-Mudder Camp & Race

June 8 - 10 & 11 | 10:00 am - 4 pm

Back by popular demand, this is the 5th year of the Mini-Mudder Camp, and it just keeps getting better. Your kids get to build their very own racecourse and create their own obstacles! On Saturday, parents get to watch the children race through the course and cheer them on. During this camp, we teach the kids to work together to build bigger and better things and encourage each other when getting dirty may not be their thing. This is a camp to let kids be kids and get muddy!

Ages 5 - 12, $375++ per child

Under the Sea Camp

June 13 - 17 | 10:00 am - 4 p.m.

Enjoy under the sea crafts and freshen up those swim skills. Beginners are welcome. Our Mayacama Activities Staff will teach your child about water safety, expand on their swim skills, and help them create some special friends. The Under the Sea Camp is a week not to be missed!

Ages 4 - 7, $400++ per child

Exotic Animal Camp

July 6 - 8 | 10:00 am - 4:00pm

Learn about some of the world’s most exotic animals with the Activities Staff. We will be making all kinds of crafts and learning about these animals. We will also take a field trip to Safari West and see some of the exotic animals they have learned about during the week.

Ages 5 - 12, $400++ per child

Outdoor Adventure Survival Camp

July 11 - 15 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

We will be off-campus each day for this camp, exploring and learning about nature. We will hike and learn how to build shelters if we were to get lost in the woods. The kids will go to the river and learn how to paddle a kayak or canoe, camp overnight, make campfires and learn about fire safety, and create lasting friendships with their fellow campers. We will be camping for two nights on this trip and will not be returning to Mayacama on Wednesday or Thursday Night.

Ages 8 - 12, $600++ per child

Mad Scientist Camp

August 3 - 5 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

This week will be all about science as the kids become mad scientists and participate in exciting science experiments! They will grow crystals, build their own erupting volcanoes, and more! Come learn about chemical reactions and enjoy the explosions!

Ages 5 - 12, $375++ per child

First Friday Pour

Friday, March 4 | 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.

We are excited to welcome J Vineyards & Winery for our March First Friday Pour. The pour is an excellent opportunity to experience the beautiful wines our Vintner Members produce, as well as a chance to socialize with your fellow Members.

Spring Aeration

Monday, March 14 - Thursday, March 17

The Club & Course will be closed for our semi-annual aeration project to keep the course in top shape. We look forward to reopening on Friday, March 18.

Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt

Sunday, April 17 | 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The annual Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt is our most popular family event! There will be photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, and tons of eggs for the hunt! Parties larger than 10 may not be able to be accomodated. Please call 707-569-2900 to inquire about booking larger parties.

Adults: $95++ (includes wine), Children: $35++ (under 12 years old)

Tennis and Pickleball are Going Strong!

Mayacama Tennis Pro, Ryan Olson, has plenty of options for both adults and children to help improve their game. They include:

Private and semi-private tennis or pickleball lessons
90-minute three-person, doubles-centered tennis clinics
4+ people “live ball” centered on cardio and doubles tennis
Introduction to pickleball

Finally, please don’t forget to reserve your court online. All courts are to be reserved (no earlier than seven days in advance) through the online reservation system on the Mayacama website or the Mayacama Club App (including pickleball/ sport court). Note: Member must be present on the court for use. For special requests or multiple court bookings, please contact Ryan directly.

Women's Golf Clinics Image of woman golfing

Wednesdays in May | 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.

Your Professional Staff is pleased to conduct a series of complimentary Golf Clinics designed specifically for women. The clinics will be held every Wednesday during the month of May. This series of golf clinics will cover all aspects of the game, including short game techniques, full swing, club fitting, golf etiquette, rules of golf, and general golf customs. Clinics are open to players of all levels.

Two clinics are being offered each day. You may choose between a 9:00 a.m. clinic or an 11:00 a.m. clinic. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Register by calling the Golf Shop at 707.569.2915.

The Vintner Cup

On behalf of the Mayacama Vintner Members, we are pleased to invite you to participate in Mayacama Golf Club’s 15th Annual Vintner Cup. The Vintner Cup is centered around two of life’s pleasures, golf, and wine. This event creates an opportunity for Members to become better acquainted with our Vintner Members by participating with them as a teammate in a friendly competition along with sharing a glass or two of wine after the game.

Mayacama Cup Match Play Championships

Thursday - Monday, May 26 - 30

Mayacama Golf Club cordially invites you to participate in the 19th playing of the Mayacama Cup Match Play Championships. The Mayacama Cup is one of two “Medal” Championships played at Mayacama Golf Club, where the Champions receive a sterling silver Championship Medal, and an invitation to the Annual Champions Dinner held on the eve of the Annual Stroke Play Championships in August.
