This month we are featuring exquisite small-lot bottlings of single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Gary Farrell Winery. Only two barrels of each wine were crafted, and these wines tell a unique story of their respective vineyard, including Bacigalupi, Fort Ross, Hallberg, and Olivet Lane. Winemaker Brent McKoy will be present to share these wines personally!

As budding young Sommeliers and wine enthusiasts, my friends and I would pick a wine region, a few choice bottles, and then we would cook dishes around those wines and search for perfect pairings. There was never a miss, it was always a blast, and always fun and informative. We did this for years, and went through many, many regions (and a broken glass or two) and loved all of them. There WAS, however, in all of that tasting, one clear winner: Rosé and Sausages. It was the simplest, easiest, tastiest, most paper napkiny-est of all of our tastings.
Join us, Monday November 11th 3-6ish in the Courtyard for one of Mayacama's first casual pairings pop-ups. Of course we will have Rosé for all, but feel free to bring a bottle of Rosé of your own to share with the Club — we’re going to rip some corks, grill up some sausages, and have some fun.

We are thrilled to welcome Chapman Dundas back to the Mayacama family as our Group Sales & Outings Manager!
In his new position, Chapman will focus on helping Members plan and execute exceptional, large-scale outings, ensuring your experiences at Mayacama are truly memorable. His understanding of Club logistics and commitment to delivering seamless experiences make him an invaluable asset to our team. Chapman will work closely with Members to plan and execute private gatherings, from overnight retreats to golf outings with business colleagues, and everything in between. With his attention to detail and dedication to excellence, your next group outing with Mayacama will be an exceptional and memorable experience.
After 10 years away, Chapman returns with over two decades of experience in the golf and hospitality industries. His career began in 1996 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, and he has been a Class “A” Member of the Professional Golfers Association of America since 2001.
Over the years, Chapman has honed his skills in hospitality, sales, and executive management, holding leadership roles at both Valley of the Moon Club and Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club where he was the Head Golf Professional, as well as being an Associate Golf Professional here at Mayacama in his previous time with us. With a rich history at prestigious Golf Clubs including Mariner Sands Country Club, Lost Tree Club, and Madison Country Club, Chapman brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. His deep commitment to loyalty, family, and camaraderie shines through in everything he does.

In true Scottish Tradition, we will honor the Patron Saint of Scotland with a Foursome Medal play golf tournament and celebrate “All Things Scottish”!
Teams will consist of two members, or one member and one invited guest and as in St. Andrews Tradition, the event is played “RAIN or SHINE”. |

Congratulations to Jason Short and John Meegan, who in a dramatic finish to the shoot-out claimed the 2024 Overall Championship. While the competition all four days was great, the camaraderie and the opportunity to meet new people truly made this event special.
The Shoot-out was nothing short of epic — two chip-offs, a 50-foot putt for a net 1 on the 11th, and a walk-off birdie, net eagle on the 18th. On hole 12, Jason Short hit a delicate pitch to six feet, and his partner John Meegan sank the tricky six-foot slider for a net birdie, securing their spot in the final pairing. On the final hole of the shoot-out, both teams had birdie chances with 25-foot putts, but Jason and John had a stroke. Jason was first to putt and, from 25 feet above the hole, he drained it for a walk-off net eagle!
