When wine collectors hear the name “Opus One,” the two words often conjure up thoughts of legacy, longevity, prosperity, and accomplishment.
To drink a bottle of Opus One is a journey into a particular moment in time. It is not a casual occasion when one of these corks is pulled, and the wine inside is often deserving of extensive conversation and debate. Simply put, Opus One is a special wine.

When we offered a five-vintage vertical of Opus One to the Mayacama membership in March 2021, the response was outstanding. With only six wood cases available ($3,500 per case), we were sold out before the end of the release day. In fact, we had such a long list of members requesting access, I was forced to go back to the winery to request more.
It is no surprise that this historic property resonates so well with our membership. These wines are some of the most long-lived and age-worthy Bordeaux blends produced in Napa Valley.

Last year’s opportunity provided Mayacama members with a 6-bottle snapshot of Opus One; vintages 2005-2010.
This year, we are widening the lens and continuing our journey into the past with an offer that provides members with a decade’s worth of Opus One wine; 2005-2014, 1 bottle from each vintage.
As most collectors and connoisseurs will probably note, this pack includes legendary Opus One vintages such as 2013 (97pts, Antonio Galloni), 2012 (96pts, Antonio Galloni), 2010 (97pts, Antonio Galloni), 2008 (95pts, Antonio Galloni), and 2007 (96pts, Antonio Galloni), among other standout vintages/wines, all rated 90pts or higher by Antonio Galloni (Vinous).
There are 6 of these 10-year vertical packs available and based on how quickly last years offer sold out, I don’t anticipate these cases lasting very long.
