Good morning! I am excited to present the first Mayacama Wine Offer of 2022. With this offer also comes the exciting announcement of our newest Vintner Members, Noah & Kelly Dorrance – owners and proprietors of Reeve Wines.

Reeve Wines is a boutique production label focusing primarily on high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast and Mendocino County. Reeve also vinifies Italian varietals from Sonoma County in super small quantities, and they are honestly some of my favorite wines that Noah and co-winemaker Katy Wilson make.

Before finding runaway success with his own brand, Noah founded Banshee Wines in 2009 with several friends. He started Reeve in 2015 as a creative side project, but as the label quickly grew, he felt it could no longer be relegated to something once considered a part-time gig.

Through impeccable vineyard scouting and cultivated grower relationships, Noah’s vision would eventually become one of the most promising Northern California wine labels currently in production.

Today, Noah spearheads Reeve’s overall vision with the support of talented winemaker Katy Wilson (LaRue, Kamen, Flowers), forming a powerhouse combination of experience, passion, and ideas.

Their small-production wines champion the cool-climate vineyards from which they grow and find an incredible balance between bountiful fruit and earthy aromatics.

Kelly Dorrance is the mastermind behind Reeve’s Healdsburg estate, defined by its modern-rustic aesthetic and elevated-yet-casual hospitality program. Her background in business and design perfectly counterpoints Noah’s maverick instinct. Drawing from their shared Midwestern roots, Kelly has created a Reeve tasting experience that many describe as comparable to spending the day in the comfort of a friend’s country home.

Aside from being incredibly talented vintners, Noah and Kelly are humble, friendly, and down-to-earth people who, at the end of the day, love to enjoy a great meal with a fantastic bottle of wine, surrounded by friends and family. To that end, I think they will fit in incredibly well at the Club, and so it is an honor and an absolute pleasure to welcome Noah & Kelly Dorrance as our newest Mayacama Vintner Members.

Today’s offer gives you the opportunity to access four different Reeve wines, all of which I believe are excellent representations of the high standard of quality by which they hold their family brand. As always, feel free to let me know if you have any questions regarding the wines.
