Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery has long been a driving force in the production of world class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Sonoma County. Founded in 1982, Gary Farrell crafted his first Pinot Noir from fruit grown in the now-legendary Rochioli Vineyard. While the winery's focus began in the Russian River Valley, it has since grown to include multiple viticultural areas throughout Sonoma County.

Today, more than 40 years after their first vintage, the winery's mission stands strong as the team continues to craft small-lot, artisan wines from some of the finest vineyards in the region, including Rochioli, Allen, Bacigalupi, Olivet Lane, Hallberg, Durell, Gap’s Crown, and Fort Ross.
Since 2012, winery operations have been overseen by Theresa Heredia, a highly regarded winemaker who made the transition to Gary Farrell from Joseph Phelps’ Freestone Vineyards on the Sonoma Coast. In the subsequent years after joining Gary Farrell Winery as their Director of Winemaking, Heredia’s wines have received nearly 700 90+ scores and other accolades, including Top 100 Wines, Top 100 Cellar Selections and numerous Editor’s Choice and Cellar Selection designations.

Today’s Mayacama wine offer is in collaboration with Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery, which has opened its library to our members and provided limited access to four separate bottlings, one of which is in a special magnum format (1.5L).
As a wine professional, it’s my job to identify producers, varietals, and single vineyard sites that thrive with time in the cellar. In my time at Mayacama, some of the finest back-vintage Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines I have tasted have come from Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery.

Provenance is 100% guaranteed as we are receiving these wines straight from their winery on Westside Road in the Russian River Valley. The bottles have not been moved since they were stored and are being procured exclusively for the purposes of this offer.
